Carlos Paredes and Diana Giraldo are from Cali, Colombia. They have been trained by well known Argentinean tango masters in Buenos Aires and Colombia.Diana was also Cesar Velasquez's student for two years in her early training as a stage dancer.

Carlos and Diana won the Mundial de Tango 2006 (Tango Escenario category). They are one of the unique exponents of the Modern Tango Canyengue Show Style. They have danced with many famous Argentinean tango orchestras, including Color Tango, Tuba Tango and Sans Souci. Over the last two years Carlos and Diana have toured Argentina, Latin America, the US and Asia. They are as energetic and precise in their classes as they are when they dance on stage, inviting people to feel the music and express themselves.

Maria Olivera and Gustavo Benzecry Saba: Maria and Gustavo belong to the very best contemporary Argentine Tango dancers. They have been performing in the most famous tango salons of Buenos Aires. Regular teachers at the Salón Canning, they also work for the renowned "Escuela de Tango Beba Bidart" and for the "Centro Cultural Torquato Tasso". Their invigorating musicality while maintaining clear lines and superb technique made them equally sought after performers and teachers abroad, and they have been touring several times Europe, Canada and the US.
They will be in New York for a short visit from September 4th until September 10th. They are based in Buenos Aires and travel extensively mostly in Europe. They will be available to teach private classes. Whether you wish to work on specific issues or would like to improve your overall dancing, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Maria and Gustavo are very accomplished dancers and excellent teachers and they can help you fine tune your skills and get ready for a great season of dancing.For more information and to book your private class please email Francesca at

bRosa Collantes is an internationally renowned performer, choreographer, and dance instructor. She has worked and studied with some of the most distinguished names in the Tango and Salsa world, including Carlos Gavito, Nito and Elba, and Hector Zaraspe. Audiences throughout the United States, South America, and Europe have hailed the intensity and authenticity that are the hallmark of her work as a featured dancer, ensemble member, and visionary choreographer. As a critically acclaimed choreographer working in theatre, music video, and film, Rosa has recently worked on a Tito Puento tribute at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, with Miro Sorvino and John Leguizamo (Summer of Sam), with Joe Pesci (My Cousin Vinni), and with Vanessa Williams and Chayanne (Dance with Me). She also coached Matt Damon in dance for The Brothers Grimm. Known for her unique and sensual style, Rosa has performed live at Manhattan’s most illustrious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Town Hall and has made guest appearances on several television shows .
